Through all of our programs, the YWCA seeks to empower women and foster women in leadership. Each year, we celebrate our women leaders through Leader Lunch. Held in early May, Leader Lunch recognizes ten outstanding working women leaders in the Greater Baltimore Area. These women not only excel in business, the professions, education, science and technology, the arts, and government, but they are leaders in the community as well. Leader Lunch also recognizes one woman with an annual Racial Justice Award and a high school senior with a Future Leader Award. The Future Leader Award includes a scholarship so that we may continue to cultivate strong women leaders in their chosen fields of endeavor.
